Located 90 minutes northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Freeman River Adventures is situated on the banks of Alberta's Freeman River, which flows into Alberta's popular Athabasca River only 5 kilometers away from our location. With some of the most magnificent waters in Alberta to choose from, we are confident that we can provide you with a truly memorable fishing experience.

Freeman River Adventures offers guided fishing on the Athabasca River for walleye, northern pike, and trout from the comfort of our jet boat. This is a great adventure for the individual, couple, family, or corporate retreat. We welcome novice anglers or parents with children. We will make this a fun, memorable fishing adventure for you. We want you to enjoy river fishing at it's finest in scenic surroundings. Our guide will put you on the best water, giving you the chance to hook that fish of a lifetime!

Departures for excursions include mornings, mid-day, or evening trips, or we can adjust to suit your schedule. FULL DAY FISHING ADVENTURES

Athabasca River Full Day Float Trip	Enjoy a full day of guided fishing on the Athabasca River from our comfortable jet boat.
Freeman River Full Day Walk and Wade	Walk, wade and fish from the banks of the Freeman River as your experienced guide points out feeding fish and prime holding waters.
Full day fishing adventures include riverside lunch, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Optional riverside fish fry. Length: 8 to 10 hours.

HALF-DAY FISHING ADVENTURES

Athabasca River Half-Day Float Trip	Our half-day float trip allows you to enjoy guided fishing on Alberta's Athabasca River, even when you don't have time to spend a full day on the river.
Freeman River Half-Day Walk and Wade	Walk, wade and fish from the banks of the Freeman River as your experienced guide points out feeding fish and prime holding waters.
Half-day fishing adventures include snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Length: 4 to 6 hours.

Multi-Day Fishing Adventures	Our multi-day Alberta Fishing Adventures are booked by the day with a discount on trips longer than three days.
Multi-Activity River Adventures	Freeman River Adventures' multi-activity river adventures are offered by-the-hour, or as half-day trips and day trips. These river excursions include a variety of activities to choose from, including walleye fishing, gold panning, fossil hunting, sightseeing, wildlife encounters, and photography opportunities. Ice Fishing Adventures	Winter doesn't mean you have to put the fishing rods away - simply change up the gear, break out the warm clothes and prepare for a winter ice fishing experience. Freeman River Adventures offers ice fishing December through April, depending on ice conditions. We will cook your catch for a delicious lunch, and we will keep a kettle warm for hot drinks. For anglers that also enjoy hunting, wolf / coyote hunts make a good winter combo with ice fishing.
